Onmoraki (オンモラキ) Yokai (妖怪)

The onmoraki are bird-like monsters with black feathers, glowing eyes and a frightening human face, they can be very skilled mimics, and as they shake their feathers they emit a shrill and terrifying sound.

The onmoraki usually appear in the temples, usually in the presence of negligent priests, they approach the priest stealthily while he sleeps, and imitating his own voice, when the priest wakes up he flees in terror, and the creature vanishes in the dark, they also appear in places where people have died.

The onmoraki originate from people who recently died, when they don't receive enough memorial prayers their life energy can transform into this hideous creature.
